Alison Ann Sweeney is an American actress reality show host writer and director. Sweeney is best known for portraying Samantha Sami Brady from the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives. The role was played by her in a contract from January 6, 1993 until October 30 the year 2014. Sweeney was able to end her role in 1999. She stopped following fads that comprised cabbage, grapefruit and a variety of other diets.
